Biografen ligger på den anden side af banegården. Den æggeformede bygning stammer fra 1938. Den er designet af Frits Peutz og J. Bongaerts. Bygningerne bag Royal er bygget senere. Herunder også en anden bygning af Peutz, Rivoli fra 1958. Oprindeligt havde Royal-salen 1180 pladser. Dette er senere reduceret til 743 for at skabe mere benplads. Siden medio 2010 er det samlede antal sæder efter en grundig renovering blevet reduceret til 672.
