Ved Lijnbaansgracht lå café chantant 't Cloppertjen. I februar 1968 blev folksongcaféet "'t Cloppertjen" åbnet. Wim Ibo var en af de første gæster. Anne-Marie Brandt var initiativtageren. Men også Wim De Craene optrådte her. I en alder af atten år flyttede Wim De Craene til Amsterdam for at bo tættere på sin mentor Ramses Shaffy. Shaffy lod ham optræde i café chantant 't Cloppertjen, og som et tegn på taknemmelighed og beundring kaldte De Craene sin egen søn Ramses i 1974.
