Den Bataaviske Republik, fra 1801 kaldet det Bataaviske Commonwealth, var en republik, der omfattede størstedelen af det nuværende Holland. Republikken blev dannet efter forbillede af og med militær støtte fra denFranske Republik, som den Bataaviske Republik var en søsterrepublik og de facto en vasalstat. Den 1. marts 1796 mødtes for første gang i den hollandske historie et nationalt og demokratisk valgt parlament. Den Bataaviske Republik fik ende med stiftelsen af Kongeriget Holland i 1806.
