Gennem årene er omkring hundrede gårde fra bronzealderen blevet udgravet i Vestfrisland. For at give et indtryk af dem blev der i slutningen af 1980’erne bygget en kopi af en bolig- og staldgård i Streekbos. På grund af hærværk og en brand blev gården flyttet til Zuiderzeemuseum i Enkhuizen. Selvom kopien ikke længere står her, giver trædesten og træstammer et indblik i, hvordan de forhistoriske beboere levede i gamle dage. Kopien er bygget af autentiske materialer som træ, ler, halm og tagrør og har en beboelsesdel og en stald til husdyrene.
