Lopburi-floden, der tager sit navn fra den gamle by Lopburi, er en af de tre bifloder til Chao Phraya-floden, de andre er Noi og Ta Chin (Suphanburi) floderne. Floden har sin kilde i Bang Phutsa (Sing Buri) og løber over Lopburi syd til Ayutthaya. Nord for Ayutthaya løb den gennem Pho Sam Ton-markerne mod Hua Ro, den nordøstlige spids af Ayutthaya, hvor den løb vest mod Hua Laem og yderligere omkredste byen. Da Chao Phraya-floden blev afledt mod Ayutthaya i 1857, blev Lopburi-flodens leje forkortet nær Hua Leam af den første. Flodlejet mellem Hua Ro og Hua Laem blev tilslammet, efter at dæmningen ved Hua Ro blev ødelagt under krigen med burmeserne i 1767. Endelig fandt Lopburi-floden et nyt flodleje nord for Wat Muang i Pho Sam Ton, ved at løbe ind i Khlong Ko Loeng og falde mod Wat Tong Pu. Den tilslammede strækning blev kendt som Khlong Mueang eller Bykanalen.
