Stift Zwettl ist eine Zisterzienser-Abtei und liegt im Waldviertel in Niederösterreich. Es besteht ohne Unterbrechung seit seiner Gründung im Jahr 1138 und ist damit nach dem Stift Rein und Stift Heiligenkreuz das drittälteste Zisterzienserkloster weltweit. Das Kloster mit der Stiftskirche liegt unweit der gleichnamigen Stadt Zwettl. Der Klosterbau liegt typisch für eine Zisterze am Talboden und wurde in einer Flussschleife des Kamps errichtet.
