Rundwanderung oberhalb von Ried und Fendels. Die erste Hälfte überwiegend schmale Bergpfade, die zweite Hälfte breite Forstwege. Viele Aussichtspunkte. Abfahrt auf ca. 1850 m Höhe vor der Schranke am Ende der (erlaubten) Forststraße. Hier gibt es Parkplätze für einige Autos. Die Wanderung geht hinauf auf eine Höhe von 2100 m. Ab 1950 m Höhe lag hier Ende Mai 2015 noch Schnee, was den Weg nicht wirklich befahrbar machte. Von der Hütte unterhalb der Fendler Alm geht es langsam bergab, vorbei an der Sattelklause (Liftspitze von Fendels) zum Gschmendtbach. Von dort zurück ca. 150 m bis zum Beginn der Wanderung.
