Die Kirche Saint-Médard wurde dem Johanniterorden um 1175 von den Grafen von Duras überlassen.
Die heutige Kirche im gotischen Stil wurde aus örtlichen Materialien gebaut (Sandstein und Kalk).
Die halbrunde Chorapsis, die von außen gesehen zwei Ebenen mit niedrigen Rundbogenfenstern unter einer Wandarkade besitzt, und das Querschiff, das sich zu zwei Seitenkapellen hin öffnet, verraten noch den romanischen Einfluss.
Mit der Fertigstellung des oberen Bereichs des Kirchenschiffs und des Turms endete im 14. Jahrhundert die Bauzeit.
Nur die Gewölbe der Seitenschiffe und Seitenkapellen befinden sich im Originalzustand. Die des Hauptschiffs und des Querschiffs stammen aus dem Jahr 1759.
