Das Schloss Ter Zinkt in Munte war eine echte mittelalterliche Wasserburg, doppelt umgraben und mit einem Kerker für Verbrecher ausgestattet. Im 18. Jahrhundert wurde es größtenteils abgerissen, und im 19. Jahrhundert wurden die Reste in einen Lustgarten umgewandelt. Dieses Schloss ist also ein typisches Beispiel für eine romantische Schlossinterpretation. Es kann leider nur von außen bewundert werden.
