Ehemaliges "Schuttershof" der St. Sebastiaansgilde, einer Schützenvereinigung, deren ältestes bekanntes Reglement aus dem Jahr 1482 stammt. Das Gildehaus wurde von der Vereinigung erbaut, vermutlich im Laufe der zweiten Hälfte des 17. Jahrhunderts. 1754 wurde es öffentlich verkauft. Das Gasthaus, im Besitz der angrenzenden Brauerei Van Hoorebeke, diente jedoch weiterhin als Schützenlokal und nutzte den angrenzenden Schützenplatz, wo die gaeyperse stand. Zwei Gedenksteine an der Rückfassade verweisen noch auf die "Meisterschaft 1952/ Sektor II/ Ostflandern/ gewonnen von der/ Mannschaft aus Assenede" und auf "Raymond Janssens/ 24. Kaiser der Kon. Nation. Verband der belgischen Wipschützen/ 30. Mai 1954".
