Der Bahnhof von Beveren-Waas wurde am 26. Februar 1845 eröffnet und liegt an der Bahnlinie 59. In den Anfangsjahren gab es nur eine Verbindung zwischen Sint-Niklaas und dem Vlaams Hoofd (Antwerpen), aber bald wuchs diese Bahnlinie weiter in Richtung Gent und schließlich bis nach Oostende. In der ersten Phase bestand der Bahnhof aus einem kleineren Gebäude, das 1902 durch das heutige Bahnhofsgebäude ersetzt wurde. Das Gebäude besteht aus einem zentralen Teil und zwei kurzen Seitenflügeln. Der Bahnhof lag auch an der Gasanlage, die ein eigenes Zugangsgleis für die Kohlenversorgung hatte.
