Das Pensionnat Saint Jean-Baptiste de la Salle wurde zwischen 1896 und 1898 erbaut. In den Anfangsjahren waren hier ausschließlich deutsche Studenten. 1914 wurde es für Frankophone eröffnet. 1940 wurde es von den Nazis besetzt und ein Teil der Hitlerjugend wurde dort untergebracht. Später wurde es ein Auffangzentrum für Kinder von Kriegsgefangenen. Am 8. Januar 1945 wurde das Gebäude von einer Phosphorbombe getroffen. Das Gebäude ist jetzt Privatbesitz und wurde 1966 in Wohnungen umgebaut. Der Park wurde von der Pfarrei Grand-Halleux gekauft.
