Schließlich soll das Gebäude Saint-Gilles Träger der *Bewußtmachung zum politischen Leben* sein. In diesem Zusammenhang hat zum Beispiel das Wallonische Parlament im März 2008 die Wally-Ausstellung unterstützt. Zahlreiche Rundgänge durch das Gebäude werden für Gruppen von externen Besuchern veranstaltet. Mehrmals pro Woche empfängt tatsächlich das Wallonische Parlament Gruppen von Besuchern aller Herkunft, die gleichzeitig die konkrete Arbeitsweise der parlamentarischen Versammlung und den grossen Kunstwert des Gebäudes entdecken können. Diese Besuche können auf einfache Anfrage über ein online Formular verfügbar auf der Website des Parlamentes organisiert werden.
Bewußt von seiner Fortbildungsrolle hat das Wallonische Parlament einen Ausschuß « Erinnerung und Demokratie » gegründet, der sich zum Ziel setzt, die Förderung der Demokratie sowie die Ausbildung zur Erinnerung zu ermutigen.
