Avennes ist ein Dorf in der belgischen Provinz Lüttich und ein Stadtteil der Gemeinde Braives. Es war eine eigenständige Gemeinde, bis es bei der Fusion von 1977 zur Gemeinde Braives hinzugefügt wurde.
Avennes liegt im Westen der Gemeinde Braives. Der alte römische Heerweg von Tongeren nach Bavay, die heutige N69, bildet die Nordgrenze des Stadtteils. Die Mehaigne fließt durch das Dorf. Avennes ist ein Landwirtschaftsdorf in Droog-Haspengouw mit vor allem Ackerbau.
