Das heutige Gebäude wurde im frühgotischen Stil (13. Jahrhundert) errichtet. Sein Grundriss entspricht einem lateinischen Kreuz mit Altarraum und Chorumgang ohne Seitenkapellen.
Das Schiff erhebt sich in drei Stufen mit einem eleganten Triforium mit wunderschönem Maßwerk. Die Gewölbe von Schiff und Querschiff wurden nach der Einnahme der Stadt durch burgundische Truppen (1466) gebaut.
Der Vorbau besteht aus zwei Türmen und einem Mittelstück, über dem sich ein Glockenturm mit Zwiebelhaube erhebt.
