Der Hafen von Antwerpen ist der größte Hafen Belgiens. Gemessen am Ladungsaufkommen in Tonnen ist er der zweitgrößte Hafen Europas und der siebzehnte weltweit. Antwerpen und der Hafen Zeebrügge schlossen sich am 22. April 2022 nach jahrhundertelanger Rivalität zusammen und wollen als Hafen Antwerpen-Brügge ihren zweiten Platz in Europa stabilisieren und die Verfolgung aufnehmen.
