Der Park der Gemeinde Boom liegt zwischen den Straßen 's Herenbaan, Beukenlaan und Spoorweglaan.
Er ist ein Überbleibsel des "Beekbosch".
Ursprünglich im Besitz der adeligen Familie Cardon de Lichtbuer aus Destelbergen, wurde auf Anregung des Boomser Schepen Benjamin Haesaerts am 16. Juni 1925 die Interkommunale "Boomsche Beekbosschen Tuinwijk" gegründet.
Die Mitglieder dieses Vereins waren die Provinz Antwerpen sowie die Gemeinden Boom, Niel und Reet. Der Verein kaufte von der genannten Familie 29 ha Wald.
