Der Molenbeek fließt hier in den Park von Boom und verbindet sich dort mit dem Bosbeek. Am Ende des Parks taucht sie unter die A12. Auf Höhe des Bahnhofs von Boom mündet sie in die Rupel. Da beide Bäche in der Vergangenheit für Überschwemmungen sorgten, plante die Provinz Antwerpen einige Maßnahmen, wie das Überschwemmungsgebiet Molenbeekse Plassen in Rumst.
