Diese Wasserburg aus dem 14. Jahrhundert ist eine der schönsten Flanderns. Bereits 1300 war Cleydael bekannt und im Besitz der Familie Sanders. Danach folgten viele andere Eigentümer. Auch die spanische Familie Del Rio war eine Zeit lang Besitzer dieses Anwesens. Das Schloss selbst ist vollständig von Wasser umgeben, das von der Struisbeek kommt. Bis ins 16. Jahrhundert konnte man von der Schelde diesen Bach vollständig befahren. Auf dem Gelände wurde ein Golfclub eingerichtet. In einem der Nebengebäude aus dem 14. Jahrhundert findet man ein Restaurant. Derzeit ist das Schloss Privatbesitz und wird nicht für die Öffentlichkeit geöffnet.
