Nicht unlogisch, denn eine solche Schwarm hungriger Tauben konnte dein Getreidefeld leerfressen. Die Vorteile lagen beim Besitzer, denn Taubenkot war hervorragender Dünger. Wusstest du, dass manchmal ein Teil der Mitgift Taubenkot war! Und eine solche fette Taube war auch eine nahrhafte Ergänzung zu deiner eiweißarmen Ernährung.
