„Das Lesen von Teixeiras Gedicht ist wie ein Spaziergang durch eine Landschaft. Eine Reise von der Stadt aufs Land, von der Gegenwart in die Vergangenheit und zurück. Das Gedicht beginnt bei der Basilika von Koekelberg „diese leere Lagerhalle Gottes“ und endet in einem Tümpel. Genau wie das Gedicht macht mein künstlerischer Eingriff den Leser-Zuschauer zur Hauptfigur in der Landschaft. Die Brücke ist ein Treffpunkt, an dem Gedicht, Vorstellungskraft und Betrachtung zusammenkommen.“
