Im Schlossgut Vrieselhof, das im Tal des Grote Schijn liegt, veranschaulichen drei schöne Wanderungen (1,5, 2 oder 3 Kilometer) die Vielseitigkeit dieses Naturschutzgebietes. Außerdem gibt es einen Pfad für Rollstuhlfahrer und einen Waldlehrpfad. Das imposante Schloss im Neorenaissancestil beherbergt das Bibliothekszentrum der Provinz. Im Besucherzentrum finden regelmäßig thematische Ausstellungen statt. Von dort aus starten auch mehrere Wanderungen, mit oder ohne Guide. Die Taverne De Remise, die sich im alten Kutschenhaus befindet, stillt Hunger und Durst.
