Hopfenfelder sind ein Blickfang in der Landschaft.
Ihre schlanken Ranken und straff gespannten Kabel sind ein Kunstwerk für sich.
Das inspirierte mich bei der Gestaltung und Formgebung des Werkes „Humulus Lupulus“. Ich machte viele Fotos und wählte einige aus, um sie später zu einem grafisch interessanten Bild zu verarbeiten. Die Variation in Richtung, Dicke und Rhythmik dieser linearen Struktur habe ich in gewissem Sinne in ihrer flachen, zweidimensionalen Form beibehalten. Durch Falten und Stapeln der Kompositionen erhalten diese eine dreidimensionale Ausarbeitung.
