Die Zuckerkaai liegt südlich des Zentrums und des Bahnhofs von Halle. Man kann die Zuckerkaai über die nahegelegene Bergensesteenweg (N6) und N28 erreichen. Darüber hinaus befindet sich der Bahnhof in fußläufiger Entfernung (600 m). Dies ermöglicht eine "Anbindung" an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr (Bus, Zug).
Dieser Standort ist der "Ankunftsort" in Halle für die Boote von Rivertours. Es ist auch wichtig zu erwähnen, dass es sich um spezielle Kreuzfahrten handelt: solche Bootstouren finden nur an bestimmten Daten statt. Ein Beispiel dafür ist der Ausflug nach Ronquières.
In der Nähe befindet sich auch der Fahrradknotenpunkt 65, dies ist der Ausgangspunkt unserer Route Richtung Ruisbroek.
