Der Königin-Astrid-Park sollte nicht mit dem Königinnenpark verwechselt werden . Der Park liegt auf dem gleichnamigen Platz.
Seit 1991 in Tournai die alle zehn Jahre stattfindenden Blumenausstellungen der Provinz Hennegau organisiert wurden, sind die Blumenbeete dieses kleinen Parks voller Rosen verschiedener Sorten.
Zwei Wasserspiele mit Springbrunnen verschönern den blühenden Park. Im Hintergrund leuchtet die Fassade des Musée de la Tapesserie.
Es gibt auch die Statue von Louis Gallait, dem berühmten Historienmaler des 19.
