Die Quelle des Mineralwassers ist seit jeher als Source du Bois Notre-Dame oder Source des Dames bekannt.
Alexandre Matton organisierte die kommerzielle Nutzung der natürlichen Mineralwasserquelle von Arville, die ab 1911 dem Grafen von Liedekerke gehörte.
Im Jahr 1920 wurde der Grenadinensirup „Boum“ kreiert. Im Jahr 1926 wurden „ Arville Grenadine “ und „ Arville Lemon “ kreiert. Am Ende des Zweiten Weltkrieges wurde es von der Brauerei „Impérial“ übernommen. „Arvilor“ an Orangeade , „Ma pomme“ (in Anlehnung an das Lied von Maurice Chevalier) und „Peppermint“ runden das Angebot ab.
Der Werbeslogan lautete „ Um jung und subtil zu bleiben, trinke Arville-Wasser “ (Po d'mêrer djonne è subtil, bêvoz d'êwe d'Arville).
Das Unternehmen „Arville Mineral Sources“ wurde in den 1960er Jahren von einer Brauereigruppe übernommen und verlor daraufhin sein traditionelles lokales Produkt. 1971 schloss das Unternehmen „Arville Mineral Sources“ seine Pforten
