Die rote Schleife beginnt am Sportzentrum des Provinzialgeländes Puyenbroeck und ist 50 km lang.
Es ist ein flacher, sandiger und waldreicher Kurs und verläuft bis nach +/- 18 km parallel zur blauen Schleife. Die Abzweigung befindet sich im Wäldchen an der Höhe der Lepelstraat in Wachtebeke, wo es eine Schleife über Overslag und das Kloosterbos macht, um so über die Moervaart und die gesamte Strecke auf das Gelände zurückzukehren.
