An der Wassermühle von Brussegem beginnt Ihre Reise durch die schöne Merchtem-Landschaft. Sie wandern am Foeksenbos vorbei und passieren den Torenhof, ein quadratisches Bauernhaus, das unter Denkmalschutz steht. Im Hofladen können Sie Äpfel von den nahe gelegenen Obstplantagen kaufen. Wenn Sie Glück haben, können Sie unterwegs einen Steinkauz, die kleinste Eule Belgiens, fliegen sehen.
