Die NatuurStudieGroep Beneden-Dijle machte hier ihren Dienstagvormittags-Spaziergang und notierte Flora & Fauna: waarnemingen.be unter Beobachter NSG Beneden-Dijle am Datum 22-6-2010 und 10-4-2012.

Der Pflanzenpark Florete Flores ist ein Sammlungsgarten mit einer besonderen Geschichte, deren Ursprung im damaligen Polderdorf Oorderen liegt. Als Oorderen durch den Hafenbau in der Mitte des letzten Jahrhunderts von der Karte verschwand, brachte René Vertommen (1920 – 2011) den Garten nach Heist-op-den-Berg.
Der Garten ist in folgende Themen unterteilt: Bienenpflanzen, Bodendecker, Insektenpflanzen, Nützpflanzen, Kräuterpflanzen, Farne, Schmetterlingspflanzen und Kletterpflanzen. (Quelle: Provinz Antwerpen)
