(Diese Fahrradroute wird auch RAVeL 5 genannt).
Die Route beginnt am alten Bahnhof von Hombourg (B.) und verläuft über teilweise neue Stücke in nordöstlicher Richtung entlang der Fahrrad-Knotenpunkte zur Vennbahn.
Diese wird bis Monschau und weiter bis Küchelscheid verfolgt.
Von dort aus kann die Vennbahn einfach weiterverfolgt werden, eventuell bis zum Endpunkt in Troisvierges (L.)

Diejenigen, die mit Auto und Fahrrad zum Ausgangspunkt kommen, können das Auto auf dem Parkplatz vor der Kirche oben in Hombourg parken.

Dies ist die Reihenfolge der Fahrrad-Knotenpunkte (Hinweis: Die Schilder hängen noch nicht überall):
53 -> 55 -> 04 -> 8 -> 9 -> 15 -> 17 -> 18 -> 27 -> 29 -> 48 -> 11
und weiter auf der Vennbahn: 24 -> 25 -> 27 usw.
