Château-d’Oex ist eine politische Gemeinde im Bezirk Riviera-Pays-d’Enhaut im Schweizer Kanton Waadt. Der frühere deutsche Name Ösch, Oesch wird heute nicht mehr verwendet.
Château-d’Oex liegt auf 958 m ü. M., 22 km östlich des Bezirkshauptortes Vevey . Das Dorf erstreckt sich in einer Talweitung des Pays-d’Enhaut auf einer Geländeterrasse am Dorfbach, leicht erhöht über dem Tal der Saane , in den Waadtländer Alpen.
