Möhlin ist eine Einwohnergemeinde im Schweizer Kanton Aargau. Sie gehört zum Bezirk Rheinfelden, liegt im Westen der Region Fricktal am Hochrhein und grenzt an Deutschland sowie an den Kanton Basel-Landschaft. Die mit fast 19 km² flächenmässig drittgrösste Gemeinde des Kantons gehört zur Agglomeration der Stadt Basel.
Die Gemeinde liegt 19 km östlich von Basel in einer fruchtbaren Lössebene am Ausgang des Möhlintals. Sie besteht aus den Ortsteilen Obermöhlin, Untermöhlin und Riburg. Diese Ortsteile sind vollständig zusammengewachsen und erstrecken sich auf einer Länge von dreieinhalb Kilometern dem Möhlinbach entlang. Dem Ufer des Rheins entlang erstrecken sich ausgedehnte Wälder. Dort befand sich einst eine Siedlung mit dem Namen Rappertshäusern, die im 17. Jahrhundert aufgegeben wurde und heute überwachsen ist.
