Der Parc Ela ist schweizweit der grösste regionale Naturpark und liegt im Kanton Graubünden. Namensgeber des Parc Ela ist der Piz Ela zwischen dem Albulatal und dem Oberhalbstein.
Naturpärke wie der Parc Ela umfassen ursprüngliche Natur- und Kulturlandschaften. Die rechtlichen Grundlagen für die Schweizer Pärke sind seit dem 1. Dezember 2007 in Kraft. Sie finden sich im Natur und Heimatschutzgesetz sowie in der Pärkeverordnung . Dieses Gesetz erlaubt den Regionen mit ausserordentlichen Natur- und Landschaftswerten Pärke zu werden, wenn die Bevölkerung dies wünscht. Das Bundesamt für Umwelt prüft die Gesuche und erteilt das Label «Park von nationaler Bedeutung», wenn alle Voraussetzungen erfüllt sind.
