Neustadt in Holstein ist eine Stadt im Kreis Ostholstein in Schleswig-Holstein. Gegründet wurde sie im Jahr 1244 von Adolf IV. von Holstein. Neustadt in Holstein war ehemals für seine Hafenanlagen bekannt, heute ist es Reiseziel vieler Touristen und dient als Erholungs- und Kulturort.
Neustadt in Holstein ist eine Hafenstadt in Wagrien an der Lübecker Bucht , 32 km nördlich von Lübeck und 67 km südöstlich von Kiel. In der Nähe liegende größere Orte sind an der Lübecker Bucht im Süden Sierksdorf und Scharbeutz, im Osten Grömitz, ferner westlich liegend Rogerfelde ein Ortsteil der Gemeinde Altenkrempe und nordöstlich Merkendorf ein Ortsteil der Gemeinde Schashagen.
