Süßen ist eine Stadt im Landkreis Göppingen in Baden-Württemberg. Süßen liegt im Vorland der Mittleren Schwäbischen Alb im Filstal zwischen Stuttgart und Ulm .
Süßen gehört politisch zur Region Stuttgart und somit zum Regierungsbezirk Stuttgart. In Süßen mündet die Lauter in die Fils. Das Stadtgebiet reicht von 345 m bis 551 m und liegt unweit des Albtraufs.
