Hüttenberg ist eine seit 1977 bestehende Gemeinde im mittelhessischen Lahn-Dill-Kreis. Im engeren Sinne ist Hüttenberg der Hauptort der Gemeinde, der seinerseits 1968 als Gemeinde durch Zusammenschluss der Dörfer Hochelheim und Hörnsheim gebildet wurde.
Die Gemeinde besteht aus den sechs Ortsteilen Hüttenberg , Rechtenbach, Reiskirchen, Vollnkirchen, Volpertshausen und Weidenhausen.
Der Name „Hüttenberg“ steht nicht nur für die 1977 gegründete Gemeinde, sondern seit dem Mittelalter für die ganze Landschaft am Kleebach und seinen Zuflüssen, die über Jahrhunderte einen eigenständigen Verwaltungs- und Gerichtsbezirk bildete. Die heutige Gemeinde umfasst nur noch den westlichen Teil des ursprünglichen Hüttenbergs.
