Sankt Augustin ist eine Stadt im Rhein-Sieg-Kreis, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Deutschland. Sie entstand bei der nordrhein-westfälischen Gebietsreform 1969 durch die Auflösung des Amtes Menden und liegt im Verdichtungsraum Bonn. Namensgeber ist der Schutzpatron der ansässigen Steyler Missionare, der heilige Augustinus . Sankt Augustin gehört zur Wirtschaftsregion Bonn/Rhein-Sieg sowie zur Wissenschaftsregion Bonn und ist mit über 55.000 Einwohnern die zweitgrößte Stadt im Rhein-Sieg-Kreis.
