Der Bahnhof Forchheim ist der größte Bahnhof der oberfränkischen Stadt Forchheim. Er liegt an der Bahnstrecke Nürnberg–Bamberg und ist Ausgangspunkt der Bahnstrecke Forchheim–Behringersmühle, die im Regelverkehr bis Ebermannstadt bedient wird. Die ebenfalls in Forchheim abzweigende Stichstrecke nach Höchstadt an der Aisch wurde 2005 stillgelegt und mittlerweile abgebaut. Neben dem Bahnhof Forchheim besteht ein Haltepunkt in Kersbach im Stadtgebiet. Seit Dezember 2010 sind der Bahnhof Forchheim und der Haltepunkt Kersbach in das Netz der Nürnberger S-Bahn integriert.
Der Bahnhof liegt etwa einen Kilometer südöstlich der Altstadt nördlich der Wiesent, die in Forchheim in die Regnitz mündet. Die nächstgelegenen Fernverkehrshalte befinden sich in Richtung Norden in Bamberg und in Richtung Süden in Erlangen.
