Ehra-Lessien ist Mitgliedsgemeinde der Samtgemeinde Brome. Die Samtgemeinde Brome befindet sich am östlichen Rand Niedersachsens und grenzt an Sachsen-Anhalt.
Die Gemeinde Ehra-Lessien besteht aus den Ortsteilen Ehra und dem zwei Kilometer westlich liegenden Lessien .
Im Gemeindegebiet befinden sich mit der Bickelsteiner Heide und Malloh große Waldgebiete, die rund 38 km² des 56 km² großen Gemeindegebiets einnehmen. Ehra-Lessien liegt jeweils rund 20 Kilometer von Wolfsburg und Gifhorn entfernt. Nachbargemeinden sind Wittingen, Brome, Tülau, Barwedel, Sassenburg und Wahrenholz.
