Steinbach ist ein Bergdorf und Ortsteil der Stadt Bad Liebenstein im Wartburgkreis in Thüringen. Bekannt ist Steinbach unter anderem durch die Gefangennahme von Martin Luther oberhalb des Ortes im Jahr 1521.
Als höchster Punkt des Ortes und des Landkreises gilt der Große Weißenberg, eine Anhöhe am Rennsteig mit dem Grenzpunkt Dreiherrenstein. Beachtenswert sind auch: Rennwegskopf , Gerberstein , Golmerskopf , Eselskopf , Scharfenberg , Seifertsberg und Mühlbergskopf .
