Bechtolsheim ist eine Ortsgemeinde am Fuße des Petersbergs im Landkreis Alzey-Worms in Rheinland-Pfalz. Sie gehört der Verbandsgemeinde Alzey-Land an.
Die Gemeinde liegt an der Selz, die sich am Petersberg entlangschlängelt. Die nächsten Städte sind Alzey mit den für den Ort zuständigen Verwaltungen , und Wörrstadt in jeweils ca. 10 Kilometer Entfernung. Die 30 Kilometer entfernte Landeshauptstadt Mainz ist am schnellsten über die Bundesautobahn 63 zu erreichen.
