Krostitz ist eine Gemeinde im Landkreis Nordsachsen, Freistaat Sachsen. Sie gehört der Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Krostitz an.
Die Gemeinde Krostitz liegt in der Leipziger Tieflandsbucht etwa 15 Kilometer nordöstlich von Leipzig, zehn Kilometer südöstlich von Delitzsch und zehn Kilometer westlich von Eilenburg. Die B 2 führt durch die Ortsteile Krensitz und Krositz und die Bahnstrecke Halle –Eilenburg durch den Ortsteil Krensitz. Die nächstgelegene Autobahnanschlussstelle ist Leipzig an der A 14 – Leipzig Mitte. Durch die Vetter Verkehrsbetriebe und Omnibusverkehr Leupold ist Krostitz mit einer PlusBus- sowie weiteren Regionalbuslinien angebunden.
