Ebstorf ist ein Klosterflecken inmitten der Lüneburger Heide im niedersächsischen Landkreis Uelzen. Die Gemeinde Ebstorf gehört zur Samtgemeinde Bevensen-Ebstorf.
Der auf fruchtbarem Kleiboden liegende Flecken Ebstorf besteht aus dem Ort Ebstorf und dem bis zur Gebietsreform 1972 selbständigen Ort Altenebstorf sowie Tatendorf. Bis zum 31. Oktober 2011 war sie Mitgliedsgemeinde und Sitz der Samtgemeinde Altes Amt Ebstorf, die zum 1. November 2011 in der Samtgemeinde Bevensen-Ebstorf aufging.
