Die Hansestadt Havelberg ist eine Stadt und ein staatlich anerkannter Erholungsort im Landkreis Stendal in Sachsen-Anhalt.
Die Stadt, deren historisches Zentrum sich auf einer Prignitzer Insel in der Havel befindet, liegt im äußersten Nordosten des Bundeslandes Sachsen-Anhalt an der Havel kurz vor ihrer Mündung in die Elbe. Im Norden und Osten grenzt die Gemarkung Havelberg an die drei brandenburgischen Landkreise Prignitz, Ostprignitz-Ruppin und Havelland.
