Ostheim ist ein östlicher Stadtteil von Köln im rechtsrheinischen Stadtbezirk Kalk. Bis zum 19. Jahrhundert war Ostheim eine kleine, landwirtschaftlich geprägte Ortschaft des Kirchspiels Merheim. Während der Industrialisierung der Städte Kalk und Mülheim am Rhein entwickelte sich Ostheim zum Wohngebiet für die Arbeiter der dortigen Fabriken. Mit der Eingemeindung der Bürgermeisterei Merheim am 1. April 1914 wurde Ostheim zum eigenständigen Stadtteil von Köln.
