Leutkirch im Allgäu [ˈlɔʏ̯tkɪʁç] ist eine ehemalige Freie Reichsstadt mit rund 22.000 Einwohnern im Landkreis Ravensburg im Südosten von Baden-Württemberg. Im Westallgäu zwischen Memmingen und Wangen an der A 96 gelegen, bildet die Stadt ein Mittelzentrum für die umliegenden Gemeinden. Leutkirch ist mit seiner Fläche von 175 km² nach Stuttgart, Baiersbronn, Bad Wurzach und Ehingen die fünftgrößte Gemeinde in Baden-Württemberg.
Leutkirch im Allgäu ist seit dem 1. Januar 1974 Große Kreisstadt. Mit ihren Nachbargemeinden Aichstetten und Aitrach ist die Stadt Leutkirch eine Vereinbarte Verwaltungsgemeinschaft eingegangen.
