Efringen-Kirchen ist eine Gemeinde im Landkreis Lörrach und die westlichste Gemeinde Baden-Württembergs. Die Gemeinde entstand 1942 durch Zusammenschluss der beiden alten Dörfer Efringen und Kirchen.
Die damalige Gemeinde Efringen-Kirchen entspricht dem heutigen Ortsteil Efringen-Kirchen. Mit der Gemeindereform von 1974 wurden acht bis dahin selbständige Gemeinden als neue Ortsteile eingemeindet. Somit besteht die Gemeinde Efringen-Kirchen heute aus neun Ortsteilen.
