Alsheim ist eine Ortsgemeinde in Rheinhessen im Landkreis Alzey-Worms in Rheinland-Pfalz. Sie gehört der Verbandsgemeinde Eich an.
Das Dorf mit dem Weiler Hangen-Wahlheim liegt inmitten von Weinbergen am Fuß der rheinhessischen Rheinterrassen zwischen Mainz und Worms. Durch seine Lage zwischen Rhein-Main-Gebiet und Rhein-Neckar-Raum hat sich Alsheim zu einer Wohn- und Pendlergemeinde entwickelt. Neue Baugebiete werden diesen Trend weiter verstärken. Wanderwege und ein Weinlehrpfad mit Blick in die Rheinebene erschließen zusammen mit Radwegen die Landschaft.
