Der Flughafen Stuttgart ist der internationale Flughafen der baden-württembergischen Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. Er liegt größtenteils auf der Gemarkung der Städte Leinfelden-Echterdingen und Filderstadt. Die ersten Anlagen wurden 1936 errichtet und in den Jahren 1986 bis 2004 auf den heutigen Stand ausgebaut. Der Flughafen Stuttgart ist der größte Flughafen in Baden-Württemberg und, gemessen am Passagieraufkommen, im Jahr 2019 auf Platz sechs der größten Flughäfen Deutschlands. Am Flughafen sind rund 9500 Menschen beschäftigt.
