Bad Kösen ist ein Ortsteil der Stadt Naumburg im Burgenlandkreis in Sachsen-Anhalt. Er ist ein Sol- und staatlich anerkanntes Heilbad.
Bad Kösen liegt mitten im nördlichsten Qualitätsweinanbaugebiet Deutschlands Saale-Unstrut an der B 87 zwischen Apolda und Naumburg im Naturpark Saale-Unstrut-Triasland, etwa 40 km südwestlich von Halle und etwa 30 km nordöstlich von Jena.
